Fr. Christian Huebner was ordained a priest in 2019 by Cardinal Wilton Gregory and previously served as Parochial Vicar of St. Mary of the Mills in Laurel and St. Raphael in Rockville.
A native of Lincoln, Nebraska, Fr. Christian grew up with his parents, three younger sisters, and various family pets. He attended St. Olaf College in Minnesota, then Yale Law School. While in law school, Fr. Christian became Catholic, received the sacrament of Confirmation, and not long after began discerning the call to priesthood. Lawyering work brought him to the DC area, and it was here that he entered seminary--and now the clergy--for the Archdiocese of Washington.
Fr. Christian enjoys reading, coffee, medium-length runs, and time with friends. Some of his favorite saints are St. John Paul II, St. Francis and St. Claire of Assisi, and St. Thomas Aquinas. He has special gratitude to Our Lady of Guadalupe.
