For many years we have assisted in feeding the hungry at So Others Might Eat (SOME). Because of the Pandemic caused by the Coronavirus outbreak, we no longer provide monthly casseroles. As the numbers of those in need increase in our community, so do the opportunities for us to share with them. Please consider SOME as you perform your works of charity.

Dear Provide-A-Meal Volunteers, I want to begin by saying I hope all of you had a safe and healthy holiday season. 2020 was not the easiest, but with vaccines already being rolled out, hopefully 2021 will bring us the change we need.
We at SOME want to thank you for your continued support during this pandemic, especially to those who have been able to adjust to our new Covid standards. We would not be able to do it without you.
The SOME dining room will be entering 2021 with the same procedures we have now, which is us asking for your contribution in the form of uncooked food, snack bags, or a monetary donation. We are currently serving about 250 bags per meal. Any type of donation is extremely helpful during these cold winter months, so if your group has a different idea in which you are able to contribute, please do not hesitate to contact us.
We at SOME are incredibly grateful for the donations you provide, and we are excited to be working with you all again soon. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] or 202-793-4569.
