In this Holy Jubilee Year, the Church calls us to focus our attention on Christ, the hope of all. In him, “hope does not disappoint,” because “the love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” (Rom. 5:5). On Saturday, May 31, 2025, the archdiocese will host a Pilgrimage, Mass and Celebration of the Holy Jubilee at the St. John Paul II Shrine and at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. This gathering, which will begin at 12PM and end with the 4:30PM vigil Mass, seeks to bring together the archdiocesan faithful from various parishes, cultures, and neighborhoods so we can joyfully proclaim Christ our Hope. This sacred time of joy and grace will include a music festival, catechesis sessions, Eucharistic procession, confessions, adoration, and Mass.
You and your family are warmly invited to participate in this celebration. It will be an opportunity to gain plenary indulgence for yourself or a deceased loved one. For more information, visit the pilgrimage page on the ADW website.
