The Sodality is forming a Junior Sodality for youth, girls and boys, ages 13-17.  The first invitational meeting will be held Saturday, December 9, at Noon in the Williamsburg Room. RSVP is required to Cynthia Lewis, Sodality Prefect, at [email protected] or 240-463-7217. 

The attendance of parents with their youth is required.  The Junior Sodality will be an opportunity to learn more about the Blessed Virgin Mary and to imitate her wondrous virtues. Some examples of the activities of Catholic fellowship are prayer of the Rosary as a group, spiritual talks, service projects, presentations on life skills (such as interviewing for a summer job), and other interests the youth decide upon. 

For the first group of Junior Sodalists, installation into the Sodality is expected in March 2024, after introduction and orientation.  The Sodality was founded by the Jesuit order, and the first members were young boys who had a zeal to love and serve Mary.
