October is Respect Life Month! During this season, we celebrate the dignity of the human person through education, outreach, and advocacy efforts. Please take note of the following events which will be hosted the first weekend of October.
October 2: The Journey Home: Walking with Families at the End of Life
Please join us for a day of prayer, reflection, and exploration of the teachings of our faith on end of life care. We will have speakers on a variety of topics, including: advance care planning, hospice care, legal questions, and the Five Wishes. Lunch will be provided and each person will have the opportunity to develop their own advance care plan. Families are welcome. ASL and Spanish Interpretation are available upon request. October 3: Created by God: A Celebration of the Dignity of Life
The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington’s Offices of Life Issues, Deaf and Disabilities Ministries, and Social Concerns invite you to join us for a Mass celebrating life and all of God’s creation! Please join us on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at St. Joseph Parish in Largo, MD to celebrate the dignity of human life and our call to care for all of God’s creation.
