Michaelmas will be celebrated a bit differently this year due to the pandemic. We will celebrate Mass on September 26, including live streaming for those who cannot attend in person. In addition, throughout the month of September we will collect non-perishable food items for families experiencing food insecurity. Please leave your donations in the boxes located in the vestibule.
In the past, St. Michael's parishioners have generously donated to several food banks, including Food for the Poor, Shepherd's Table, So Others May Eat (S.O.M.E.), Project Rachel, Project Gabriel, Matthew 25, and Catholic Charities. Since this year we will not be able to share a meal together, we invite you to share a meal with someone else. You can do so by donating to the Parish food drive or by making a meal for a friend or someone in need. We encourage you to ask your family and friends to also participate in sharing a meal or making a food donation.
Finally, we will be hosting discussions about the Pastoral Letter Against Racism and Immigration. More information on these discussions will be shared once the details are finalized.
